2024–2025 First Round Selection Results from Shanghai, New York, London, Hong Kong, and Singapore
To inspire and support the next generation of artists—and to ignite greater passion and creativity among emerging talents—the Asian Academy of Arts established the Asia Emerging Artists List. Each year, through a rigorous three-round selection process across five global cities—Shanghai, New York, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong—we identify promising Asian artists whose work embodies originality, insight, and a strong commitment to contemporary expression.
We are looking for artists who offer fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a fearless spirit of exploration. Whether newcomers at the beginning of their artistic journey or innovators reshaping traditional forms with new concepts and elements, these artists share a drive to push boundaries and create work that resonates deeply on an emotional level.
Our definition of “emerging” is not confined by age. Instead, we focus on artistic attitude and a relentless pursuit of innovation. We value creators with interdisciplinary backgrounds, those who embrace new technologies and media, and those who craft distinctive visual languages through personal expression and bold experimentation.
